This unit was installed, new, in 2017 and the touchscreen failed last year. It starts up and often you can control it for a few minutes – but then not only will it not accept input on the left side of the screen, it will randomly click things which often actuates things you don’t want actuated. The interior was clean and dry when inspected, and cleaning the connector to the touchscreen was not effective. This appears to be a common failure for these units, and Max Marine politely declined to purchase it for parts.
